Grace Garden Brick Blessing and Dedication Held Today

Families and CHRISTUS Ochsner SWLA associates gathered today to honor and remember loved ones and pets at the brick blessing and dedication held in Grace Gardens.

Grace Gardens is a peaceful, lovely green space located by the Convent Chapel at CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick Hospital. Created for all to experience God’s healing presence and love, this garden has become a treasured place for hospital visitors and Associates. The space includes fountains and benches where individuals can sit, meditate and relax in tranquility for some moments of calm.

CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick Hospital was the first hospital in Lake Charles and was dedicated on St. Patrick’s Day in 1908 as St. Patrick Sanitarium. The name was later changed to CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital before becoming CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick Hospital. The facility continues its tradition of providing quality medical care to Southwest Louisianans.
