Dr. Anthony Gardea obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio (UTHSCSA). He then completed a fellowship in General Pediatrics at the UTHSCSA. He is an Assistant Professor of General Pediatrics, Assistant Director of Medical Student Education and Co-director of the First Year Pediatric Resident Ambulatory Rotation for Baylor College of Medicine at CHRISTUS Children’s. Dr. Gardea has been a pediatrician for more than 30 years. He is involved in clinical care and teaching of pediatric residents and medical students. Dr. Gardea has a special interest in medical education, medical informatics, pediatric otolaryngology and dermatology.
