Meet Carrie Schmid, MD

Dr. Carrie Schmid has been caring for infants, children and adults with genetic conditions since 2007. She has provided medical care around the world, serving as a clinical geneticist and pediatrician in the United States Air Force, as well as with a group practice in San Antonio before joining the CHRISTUS Children's genetics team. She completed her pediatric residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in 2005 and completed her clinical genetics training at Harvard Medical School in 2007.
