Mehul R. Bhalja, MD, MPH, FACC, RPVI, FASE is an Interventional Cardiologist at CHRISTUS Heart & Vascular Institute in Alexandria, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Government Medical College Bhavnagar in India. He later pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Bhalja completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center, followed by Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology Fellowships at Tulane University Heart & Vascular Institute. Dr. Bhalja is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. Additionally, he holds certifications from the American Society of Echocardiography and as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
With extensive experience in interventional cardiology, Dr. Bhalja is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care.
