Meet Natalie Best, MD

Natalie Best, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in Beaumont, Texas, providing expert surgical care to patients ages 15 and older. She specializes in general surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and patient-centered care, strongly focusing on education and shared decision-making.  

Dr. Best brings advanced training in abdominal surgery, soft tissue procedures, and laparoscopic techniques. She is also involved in global surgery initiatives through the American College of Surgeons and the Association for Academic Global Surgery.

She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee. Dr. Best earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and a surgical residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. She then completed a specialized surgery fellowship through Mount Sinai Services at Queens Hospital in New York City.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, mentoring her 17 nieces and nephew, and previously taught swimming lessons for over a decade as a water safety aide and then as an instructor with the American Red Cross.
