About
Dr. Riojas grew up in a small fishing community on the coast right down the road from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where she obtained her bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences.
She then earned her medical degree in Fort Worth from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at UNTHSC and completed her residency training with the Memorial Family Medicine residency program in Sugar Land, Texas. From there, Dr. Riojas practiced urgent care, waiting for the right opportunity to provide more long-term preventive medicine and comprehensive patient care.
Growing up on the beaches of Rockport, Texas, Dr. Riojas developed a love for the water that made San Marcos a great place to call home. She takes every opportunity to travel to a new place, attend a Dallas Cowboys football game or go camping with family. During the summer, she looks forward to serving some great kids at Texas Lions Camp. Accustomed to a small town, Dr. Riojas knows the value of building relationships and community with her family and friends.
She practices with this philosophy at the heart of her work in order to provide her patients with the best care possible.
