Meet Robert Duran, MD
Dr. Duran speaks Spanish fluently and has expertise with the following:

He grew up in San Antonio, Texas and attended Trinity University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He then wenton to Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
He completed his internship and first year residency at Methodist Hospital in Dallas and then spent his last three years at the University of North Dakota. Hefinished a trauma rotation in Fresno, California and a rotation on the Turtle Mountain Indian reservation.
After finishing his residency in 1987, he moved to San Marcos to start his general surgery practice. He enjoys being back in the warm weather of Texas and being closer to his family in San Antonio.
Dr. Duran is an avid runner and also collects antique toys. He is married and has three daughters and six wonderful grandchildren.
