About
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Danish stayed there for most of his education, but he has been a happy Southern transplant for the last few years. Training in Nashville for cardiothoracic surgery was a great introduction to the Southeast US, and this trend continued with the first part of his career in New Orleans.
My goal is to provide the community with the highest quality and cutting-edge heart/lung surgical care, and to do so with a patient and family centered approach. Having to undergo heart or lung surgery is often a major life-event that requires a wide support system. Coming from a large, close-knit family that has faced medical challenges, I deeply value the importance of having excellent dialogue and establishing a comfort level about the treatment options available before making big decisions.
Dr. Danish is the oldest of 4 close siblings, and he values family relationships and dynamics very much. In his free time, he enjoys reading, going to the beach, and general aviation. He even has a private pilot license.
