About
Amanda Randle was born in rural Pennsylvania and is a graduate of King’s College. Following God’s call in her life she completed an accelerated Physician Assistant program by graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Medical Studies in 2014 and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2015. Amanda passed her boards and began her career as a Certified Physician Assistant by giving back and volunteering for 6 weeks at Hôpital Baptiste Biblique in Togo, West Africa.
In pursuit of remaining well rounded in medical knowledge and diagnostic ability, Amanda began her career as an emergency medicine physician assistant in North Carolina with Wake Forest Baptist. For four years she was able to diagnose and treat patients with kindness on their worst days. In seeking opportunity to develop more patient provider relationships and the ability to invest more in the community, Amanda sought to transition from the changing ER schedule to a clinic setting.
She moved to Texas to be closer to family and friends and began working as an ophthalmology physician assistant specializing in glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, eye trauma and post surgical visits. Amanda is excited to have the opportunity to continue serving the East Texas community with a mission minded focus through CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic. She would like her patients to feel valued in their pursuit of health.
Amanda is married to an Elkhart native and enjoys hiking with their dog, serving at Southside Baptist Church and traveling to see God’s beautiful creation.
