Amy Bundy, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, ACGN is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of nursing experience in women’s health. She graduated in 2019 with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Texas at Arlington. She was a recipient of the Shira Fellowship award for her scholarly work on improving access to genetic panel testing for hereditary cancer syndromes. She completed the City of Hope intensive program in cancer genetics in 2019 and remains as a member in their international community of practice. She most recently became certified in 2020 as an Advanced Clinical Genomics Nurse, and is one of less than 150 advanced practice nurses in the United States with this credential. Her training has prepared her to apply best practices in the rapidly advancing field of genetics in cancer risk assessment and prevention.
Amy is available to provide comprehensive genetic cancer risk assessments and genetic testing for both male and female patients. Her services include detailed pre and post-test counseling visits that can be completed in office or through video visits. Delivery of results include personalized management and screening recommendations based on current guidelines set forth by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN).
