About

Andrew D’Avy, DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy), Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation joined CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System with more than 13 years of clinical and health care management experience. A Louisiana native, he received his bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology and a second degree in biology from Louisiana Tech University, and his doctorate of physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine.

In his role at CHRISTUS, Andrew oversees inpatient therapy services at CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center and CHRISTUS Bossier Emergency Hospital including physical, occupational, and speech therapy. In addition, Andrew provides operational management to CHRISTUS Inpatient Rehabilitation, a 16-bed facility that offers comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives.

Andrew is married and the father of two children. He enjoys hunting and many other outdoor activities. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Bossier Chamber of Commerce. Andrew is proud to lead teams that share his passion for patient care and for meeting the rehabilitative needs of the Shreveport-Bossier community.
