Catherine Giordano, PNP
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
About Catherine
Cathy began practicing 15+ years ago in the suburbs of Connecticut where she married her high school sweetheart. A "Texas transplant", Cathy moved to San Antonio in 2006 as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force where she continued practice in pediatrics, caring for children of military service members. She also became the Medical Director of Base Operation Childcare Services and was an international speaker, training daycare personnel on childcare topics. Additionally, she created and ran an award-winning asthma program constantly ranked in the top 3 Air Force asthma programs worldwide. Cathy completed her Air Force career in 2011, shortly after being blessed with the birth of her beautiful daughter. She moved with her family to Tyler, where they are enjoying planting roots in the warm and welcoming East Texas community.
Her husband works for the University of Texas at Tyler graduate programs and their daughter enjoys a variety of activities including swimming, dance and gymnastics.
Cathy is passionate about the health of children and feels there is no job that is better (or more fun) than working with children, teaching and helping families as they grow and develop.

A great visit! I don’t love all the doctors at this location but I had a really great experience with doctor Giordano. She was respectful and informative.
