Christian Hirsch, MD, joins CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in Corpus Christi, TX, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise in general and colorectal surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. Dr. Hirsch pursued his medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine in St. George's, Grenada.
Dr. Hirsch completed his general surgery internship and residency at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in New York, NY, where he was honored to serve as Chief Resident during his tenure. He further specialized in colon and rectal surgery with a residency at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Edison, NJ.
Dr. Hirsch is dedicated to treating patients aged 16 and up and is proficient in English and German. His clinical interests within general surgery include colonoscopy, minimally invasive colon surgery, avoiding colostomy, complex anal-rectal surgery, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) surgery, and ileal pouch-anal anastomosis (IPAA).
