Cynthia Castillo, MD, is part of our highly trained internal medicine team at CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Castillo completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas and her Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Castillo has a strong commitment to medical education and has served as a preceptor for several teaching programs, including the Advanced Clinical Evaluation Skills (ACES) Ward, FASTS Program Clinical Skills, Summer Premedical Academy Shadowing, and Nurse Practitioner programs. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Texas Medical Association.

She did address two of my concerns well. One about chest pain and the other about excessive drooling. Mental health is very important and I guess because this was my last topic she blew it off and as I was talking to her she rushed out the door and told me I would have to deal with that either way. It was just rude and I felt very upset.
