Darius Mitchell III, M.D., is part of our highly trained orthopedic surgery team at CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in Texarkana. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center. Following graduation, Dr. Mitchell served in the United States Air Force before beginning his practice in Texarkana. Specializing in Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Dr. Mitchell is eager to evaluate and determine the best course of treatment for his patients.
Dr. Mitchell's expertise lies in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, ACL repair, and cartilage transplantation. He is also skilled in advanced procedures such as meniscal repair, MACI, BEAR implant, and OATS repair, essential for treating complex knee injuries.
