All of today's specialists pretty much ignore other possible medical areas of potential treatment... as opposed to the 1960's when even specialists spoke about the totality of a patient's medical ""being."" That is my reason for the ""good"" (and not ""very good"") rating on overall care.

I need to see a urologist every six months ands hope that the next time I see Dr. Shaw he will do the things I have been having done for well over 20 years.

I would have liked to review the MRI results to include looking at the 3D MRI visual data both last year and the most recent. I didn't think of asking specifically. Last year we reviewed the data set.

It was a good visit.

Nursing staff needs to be trained better. I got an infection due to the nurses not sending me home with 2 catheter bags and the home health aid I was promised never called or came to my house to check on me. I know Dr. Shaw spent ample amount of time setting the home visits up so it was disappointing that his time was wasted.

A REAL DOCTOR FOLLOWING HIS HIPPOCRATIC OATH IS A TREASURE AND VERY HARD TO FIND TO FIND. DR SHAW IS THAT DOCTOR.

The front desk perhaps needs to be more aware that some urological procedures are urgent and cannot be left the usual scheduling period of a month or more.

Very glad to have had Dr. Shaw as my Hydrocelectomy surgeon.
