CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic board-certified electrophysiologist Dr. Hasan Ashraf specializes in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Rutgers State University of New Jersey in Newark, NJ, and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Ashraf completed his residency at the Indiana University Department of Internal Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. He completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine in Phoenix, AZ, and a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Yale University School of Medicine in Newhaven, CT. He is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and the Heart Rhythm Society.
Dr. Ashraf has extensive experience treating various heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, ventricular tachycardia, and supraventricular tachycardia. He is also skilled in performing various procedures, including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, pacemakers, and defibrillator implantations.
