Meet Honey Smith, FNP-BC

Honey Smith is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who practiced as a Registered Nurse for over twenty years in various medical settings including as a sexual assault nurse examiner for the last seventeen years. She completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing at Lubbock Christian University and Post MastersFamily Nurse Practitioner training at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas. She has been involved at the university level in teaching future nurse practitioners. She has been part of the CHRISTUS family for two years and looks forward to a long career in Jacksonville, Texas.

She believes a patient and a provider should have a relationship based on mutual trust and respect with common goals in healthcare outcomes. This evolving relationship works towards optimal health for the patient and the community.
