About
Honey Smith is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who practiced as a Registered Nurse for over twenty years in various medical settings including as a sexual assault nurse examiner for the last seventeen years. She completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing at Lubbock Christian University and Post Masters Family Nurse Practitioner training at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas. She has been involved at the university level in teaching future nurse practitioners. For the past 4 years, she has been a Family Nurse Practitioner with University Medical Center Physicians in Lubbock, Texas. She and her husband are very excited to have relocated to East Texas to be closer to friends and family and we look forward to getting to know our new community.
She believes a patient and a provider should have a relationship based on mutual trust and respect with common goals in healthcare outcomes. This evolving relationship works towards optimal health for the patient and the community.
