Meet Jay Watson, PA-C

Jay joined the Scoliosis & Spinal Deformities Program in 2009 after completing physician assistant training at UT Health San Antonio. Prior to that time, he worked as a physical therapy assistant. This experience gave him a unique perspective that helps him ensure children receive the best possible outcome following spine surgeries. Jay also plays an integral role in coordinating patient care before, during, and after surgeries. For children and families who travel from outside San Antonio and Texas, Jay coordinates care offered by pediatric specialists in their own communities.
