Meet Jonathan Greenfeld, MD

Early in medical school, Dr. Jonathan Greenfeld recognized how difficult it must be for a parent to have an ill child, whether the condition was serious or not. He felt that caring for a sick child was an opportunity to care for the child and the parent. He has now spend more than 20 years caring for children as a pediatric surgeon. He's grateful to the many parents who have entrusted him with the care of their children. He believes children are the most important, valued, and sanctified members of our society. He considers it an honor and a privilege to care for them.

Dr. Greenfeld's professional expertise includes emergency care of abdominal and thoracic conditions including complex anomalies and routine problems such as inguinal, umbilical, abdominal wall and other hernias. He has a special interest in providing care for children with Hirschsprung’s Disease.

Away from work, Dr. Greenfeld enjoys amateur competitive racing. He has been married for over 30 years and has two grown sons.
