Meet Seth Van Zant, MD

Dr. Van Zant enjoys caring for children with various complex neurologic, behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Van Zant participates in research and advocacy related to access and provision of care to children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families. His previous research has focused on the transition to adulthood for adolescents with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities, the well-being of caregivers of children with medical complexities and serious neurologic impairment, and national trends in care and adherence to practice guidelines for common neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD. He hopes to continue to combine his clinical, research and advocacy efforts as a neurodevelopmental pediatrician who provides comprehensive neurologic and developmental care to children with complex medical problems and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Dr. Van Zant's areas of expertise include intellectural and developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disabilities, autism, Down syndrome, developmental delays and general pediatric neurology.

During his leisure time, he enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors and trying new restaurants and coffee shops with his wife.
