CHRISTUS Children's Primary Care proudly introduces their Medical Director Dr. Juan Jose Ferreris. Dr. Ferreris received his medical degree from and completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). He also served as Chief Pediatric Resident at UTHSCSA in 1997. Dr. Ferreris practiced with the San Antonio-based Solomon Anthony Clinic for two years before establishing Children First Pediatrics near the South Texas Medical Center. He is a board certified pediatrician, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UTHSCSA. With more than 15 years of pediatric experience, he is known for his endless energy and enthusiasm. He is also bilingual. Dr. Ferreris is married to his wife, Vicki, and also keeps busy caring for their two sons.
