Kathryn is an experienced surgical physician assistant specializing in bariatric surgery, general surgery, and medical weight loss. She provides preoperative and postoperative care for bariatric and general surgery patients, along with providing medical weight loss programs.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Louisiana Tech University and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Science Center-Shreveport. Kathryn has practiced in the Shreveport and Dallas areas since 2014. Her experience includes work with general and bariatric surgeons and with neurosurgical practices. She served as class president for her PA class in 2014.
Kathryn has two young sons and has a home-based business called "Kat's Cakery" where she explores her creative energies in making gourmet cakes and other specialty desserts. She also enjoys running for stress management.
