About
Kevin Hayes, M.D., is board-certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, with a subspecialty in rhythm problems, testing, diagnosing, and treating cardiovascular disease at CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in Texarkana, Texas.
Dr. Hayes is committed to providing comprehensive cardiac care to his patients, including evaluation and management of heart failure, as well as anticoagulation and syncope (fainting), and complex arrhythmia management, including loop recorders for detection, and catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation (AFib) and ventricular tachycardia. He also provides medical management and catheter ablation of supraventricular tachycardias (SVT) and implantation of cardiac defibrillators (ICDs) and pacemakers, including bi-ventricular devices.
Born in Rockford, Illinois, Hayes moved to Arkansas as a child, where he excelled in science, sparking an interest in medicine at an early age. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in Little Rock, Dr. Hayes completed his residency in internal medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.
He and his family live in Texarkana, where he enjoys running and photography.
