Meet Kira MacDougall, MD
Dr. Kira MacDougall is a dedicated and accomplished physician specializing in hematology and medical oncology. She earned her Bachelor of Science with Honors from Queen’s University in Kingston, ON, and her Medical Doctor degree from The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Dr. MacDougall completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University/Northwell Health, Staten Island University Hospital, and completed her Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and Stephenson Cancer Center.
Dr. MacDougall also pursued a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Research at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, with a thesis focused on the impact of cancer-associated thrombosis on patients treated with immunotherapy. Her dedication to advancing cancer research is further demonstrated by her participation in the American Association for Cancer Research/American Society of Clinical Oncology Methods in Clinical Cancer Research Workshop, where she designed a phase II clinical trial.
In her spare time, Dr. MacDougall enjoys skiing, snowboarding, hiking, reading, and traveling. With a commitment to patient care and a passion for research, Dr. MacDougall is poised to make significant contributions to the field of oncology.
