About
Dr. Malini Chintapalli, a board certified (ABOIM) internal medicine physician, has been practicing hospital medicine in the Shreveport-Bossier area since 2015. She currently serves as the Medical Director for CHRISTUS Inpatient Rehabilitation.
Dr. Chintapalli received her B.S. in Microbiology at LSU - Baton Rouge and attended medical school at Midwestern University in Chicago. She completed her residency training at Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX before working two years as a Hospitalist in Tulsa, OK and eventually moving back to her home state of Louisiana.
Married and the mother of two young boys, Dr. Chintapalli is an avid sports fan, usually spends her evenings at the baseball and soccer fields watching her boys play. She cheers for the LSU Tigers on Saturdays, and the New Orleans Saints on Sundays. She started playing competitive tennis at a young age and continues to compete in local leagues.
Dr. Chintapalli is proud of the work and patient-care she and her team provide the Shreveport-Bossier medical and rehabilitative community.
