CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic board-certified neurological surgeon Marco Silva, M.D. is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive patient care. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Silva specializes in spinal neurosurgery and neurological care. Dr. Silva’s areas of expertise include physical therapy, therapeutic injections, cervical fusion/reconstruction, carpal tunnel surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and endoscopic surgery.

Dr. Silva earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California -Irvine in Irvine, CA, and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical School, Houston, TX. He completed a one-year internship in General Surgery at Stanford University in Stanford, CA. He fellowshipped for the Division of Reconstructive Spine Surgery Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Rothman Institute and completed his residency in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Silva has been named one of America’s top surgeons multiple times and has received the Patient’s Choice Award several times as well.
