A native of the Philippines, Charisse moved to the Coastal Bend when she was a teenager. She began her nursing career in dialysis, performing treatments for pediatric and adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Charisse believes empowering patients to take part in their health as well as educating her patients plays an integral role in their quality of care. She aspires to treat patients as how she would want her family to be treated.

Charisse received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ateneo de Zamboanga University in Zamboanga City, Philippines, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
