Marisa is a San Antonio native. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned her Master of Physical Therapy in 2003 from Texas State University. Marisa has worked with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in acute, inpatient rehabilitation, Early Childhood Intervention, and skilled nursing facilities for the last 18 years. She joined CHRISTUS Children’s in 2019. Marisa always knew she wanted to work with children. She enjoys helping children and their families achieve their goals.
