Melonie Dayton, DNP, is dedicated to providing personally tailored care at CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in Corpus Christi, Texas. Her journey in medicine began over twelve years ago as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at a skilled nursing facility, where she developed a deep passion for providing compassionate care. Building on her experience, Melonie pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, followed by a Doctorate in Nursing focusing on Family Nurse Practitioner.
Melonie strongly believes in holistic healing and prioritizes individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. She creates a nurturing and supportive environment that addresses physical ailments and considers health's emotional and psychological aspects. This approach empowers patients to actively participate in their well-being and take control of their health journey.
Melonie is an active member of professional organizations such as the Coastal Bend Nurse Practitioner Association, the American Nurses Association, and the Texas Doctorate Nurse Practitioners Association. Beyond her professional commitments, she is involved in community service through organizations like CASA and Circle of Red with the American Heart Association. Melonie enjoys cooking, reading, attending Broadway musicals, and cherishing moments with her husband and four-year-old daughter in her leisure time.
