About
Nikia Marshall is a board-certified Nurse Midwife and a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who has provided care for women for over 11 years. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) dual degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist, Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and Society of Critical Care Medicine.
She has been a member of the San Antonio Medical Community for the past five years. Nikia is passionate about providing specialized care to women with high-risk pregnancies. Before transitioning to provide care to mothers and their unborn babies during high-risk pregnancy, she delivered more than 240 babies. Nikia’s nursing career spans 19 years, including serving in the United States Army Nurse Corps and deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Nikia relocated to Texas five years ago to be near her family. Texas has always been her home, although she grew up traveling the world in a military family. She is accompanied by her two active boys, Jackson and Nicholas. From an early age, she always knew she wanted to dedicate her career to working with women. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, being active outdoors and traveling.
