Dr. Peter Hon, MD, joins CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic as a skilled general surgeon with a robust general and specialized surgical care background. Dr. Hon earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Cornell University before completing his medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University. He further refined his skills during his general surgery residency at North Shore - Long Island Jewish Health System in Manhasset, NY. Dr. Hon then completed his colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Hon's approach to patient care is dynamic and adaptable, shaped by over a decade of experience in the field. He values the importance of tailoring treatment plans to each patient's unique needs, whether providing quick, efficient care or explaining conditions and treatment options thoroughly.
