Meet Renata Marquez, CNM

Renata Marquez, MSN, CNM, has been part of women's health and labor and delivery since 2015 and cannot imagine being part of any other health care specialty. She has enjoyed growing professionally through the years teaching residents while providing high-risk obstetrical care, especially for women with diabetes, hypertension and fetal conditions.

Renata values her ability to provide the best possible care in a comprehensive setting in which she can provide prenatal care, assist in deliveries whether they are vaginal or by cesarean section, and overall gynecologic care to women of all ages. Being a part of their journey is something she holds with the utmost respect knowing women have many choices when selecting an OB-GYN practice in San Antonio.

Renata's special interests include evidence-based practice while ensuring patient care is a shared-decision process and helping women and their families understand they have options throughout their pregnancy and beyond.

In her spare time, Renata enjoys taking care of her indoor plants, making espresso, binge-watching reality TV and living an active lifestyle that includes working out and outdoor activities.
