Sandhya Thomas is a dedicated health care professional with a diverse background and a passion for women's health. She obtained her master’s in Nursing Informatics from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, which led her to execute her learnings for 6 years as an informaticist at a local hospital. Sandhya possesses a unique blend of clinical knowledge and information technology skills. Before this, she spent 17 years in labor and delivery nursing, honing her skills and deepening her understanding of maternal health care.

Prior to joining CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic, Sandhya dedicated her time to shaping the next generation of health care professionals as an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University – Nursing, while simultaneously contributing to health care innovation. She has been actively involved in numerous project implementations at her most recent previous facility, leveraging her wealth of clinical experience and expertise to improve patient care and outcomes. With a steadfast commitment to excellence and a genuine passion for women’s health, Sandhya is poised to make a meaningful impact in her field.
