Sandhya Thomas is a dedicated healthcare professional with a diverse background and a passion for serving the women’s health and primary care population for over 25 years. She obtained her master’s in Nursing Informatics from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, which led her to execute her learnings for six years as an informaticist at a local hospital. Sandhya possesses a unique blend of clinical knowledge and information technology skills. Before this, she spent 17 years in labor and delivery nursing, honing her skills and deepening her understanding of maternal healthcare.

Prior to joining CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic, Sandhya dedicated her time to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals as an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University – Nursing, while simultaneously contributing to healthcare innovation. She has been actively involved in numerous project implementations at her most recent previous facility, leveraging her wealth of clinical experience and expertise to improve patient care and outcomes. With a steadfast commitment to excellence and a genuine passion for women’s health, Sandhya is poised to make a meaningful impact in her field.
