It's difficult to schedule appointments with Dr Weiner himself. I understand why it is necessary to defer to PA/NP on more routine visits. And, I would possibly be satisfied with a different PA/NP. On my previous visit, I was not impressed with his PA, (Thomas) he seemed limited in knowledge and seemed rushed not really wanting to answer questions on information he gave me. He seemed to just want to get out of the room. The electrophysiology staff that monitors the defibrillator and that I interface with are excellent and always answers questions as best as possible, very professional. Dr Weiner himself is excellent and needs a top notch NP/PA that would really help his patients in supplementing the care/standard Dr Weiner provides his patients.
