Board-certified surgeon, Steven Garcia, M.D., is dedicated to providing excellent surgical care for patients 18 and older in Alice, Texas.
Dr. Garcia practices broad-based general surgery focusing on minimally-invasive robotic procedures and bariatrics. Dedicated to patient safety and education, he is well-regarded for his bedside manner and personalized approach to care.
Dr. Garcia completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and genetics at Texas A&M University, in College Station, Texas. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Following medical school, he completed his general surgery residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Garcia is a native Texan and enjoys spending time with his wife, teaching, and sharing his love for Christ whenever he can.
