Sudhathi Chennuru, M.D, is part of the highly trained cancer care team in Corpus Christi, Texas. She practices at CHRISTUS Spohn Cancer Center, the region’s only cancer program nationally accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
Dr. Chennuru specializes in hematology and oncology with a special interest in breast cancer and lymphomas. With more than 25 years of experience, she has dedicated her time to research regarding oncology and improving the patient experience for those undergoing treatment.
“My goal is to make every patient feel comfortable to talk to me and express themselves, so we can conquer and deal with this difficult situation together.”
Dr. Chennuru earned her medical degree from Mysore University located in India. She went on to complete her internal medicine internship and residency and hematology and oncology fellowship from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She also completed a bone marrow transplant rotation from Ohio State University James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio. She is dual board-certified in Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Chennuru speaks three languages: English, Telugu and Hindu.
She enjoys Bollywood dance, traveling, jet skiing, playing chess, and spending time with friends and family.
