Tara Hahn, MD, has joined CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic as a distinguished and compassionate colon and rectal surgeon, bringing extensive expertise in treating various colorectal disorders. A proud Midwesterner, Dr. Hahn completed her undergraduate education at Purdue University and her medical training at Indiana University. She further specialized in colon and rectal surgery with a fellowship at the University of Buffalo.

Dr. Hahn's career includes two years of focused practice in Georgia and over 19 years serving the Corpus Christi medical community. Her extensive experience encompasses the management of anal fissures, hemorrhoids, and diverticular disease, as well as more complex conditions such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and other forms of inflammatory bowel disease. She is adept at performing vital procedures, including appendectomies, colectomies, and colon cancer surgery, and she is skilled in the use of colonoscopy for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

Board-certified in colon and rectal surgery and a fellow of the Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, Dr. Hahn is committed to addressing colorectal malignancies such as rectal cancer with empathy and professionalism. She prioritizes patient-centered care, ensuring that each individual receives comprehensive attention and feels supported throughout their treatment.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Hahn enjoys cooking, reading, and spending quality time with her husband and dogs. She is also passionate about whitewater kayaking, a hobby she pursues whenever she is away from Corpus Christi.
