Umair Sohail, MD, is part of our highly trained gastroenterology team in Tyler, TX. Dr. Sohail specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders of the digestive system. This includes conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, liver and pancreas disorders, and other digestive disorders.
Dr. Sohail received his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan and completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He then went on to complete his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Missouri-Columbia and in transplant hepatology at the University of Tennessee-Memphis.
In addition to his medical training, Dr. Sohail has a number of hobbies and interests, including spending time with his family, running, biking, and playing and watching soccer and tennis.
