CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Breaks Ground on New Surgical Hospital & Orthopedics Institute

CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Health System is dramatically growing its NorthPark campus as part of a multi-year expansion project. This $35 million investment in caring for East Texans will include the new CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Hospital - NorthPark and CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute. Additionally, there will also be major infrastructure improvements which will allow for continued campus expansion.

The CHRISTUS Good Shepherd COVID-19 Vaccine Hub is expanding access and now offering vaccine appointments at multiple CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic locations across the region. The vaccine will remain free of charge, and the scheduling process will remain the same – simply visit vaccinate.christushealth.org to make an appointment.

CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center - Longview’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the first NICU to open in the Northeast Texas region, has been officially re-accredited as a Level III NICU by the Texas Department of State Health Services. This three-year designation acts as official recognition of the facility's commitment to meeting the requirements of national and state standards for Level III neonatal ICUs.
