Meet Arielle Lamont, PA-C

Arielle Lamont, PA-C, practices in the Cardiac Observation Unit where she provides attentive and evidence based care to patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. During her training, she completed clinical rotations in cardiology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, family medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, hematology oncology and transplant surgery. She was recognized with the Academic Excellence Award and received the AHEAD Scholar Tuition Waiver for her academic achievement, leadership and community service. She earned her Bachelor of Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University of Shreveport, graduating Summa Cum Laude and earning placement on the Chancellor’s List. She also holds an Associate of General Sciences degree from Bossier Parish Community College where she graduated with honors. She maintains certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants and the Alpha Eta National Honor Society. Her approach to care is grounded in empathy, respect and evidence based practice. She believes effective treatment begins with listening to the patient’s story, understanding their concerns and building trust through clear communication. She works closely with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans that are both clinically sound and supportive of each patient’s goals. Her ultimate aim is to deliver safe, compassionate and high quality care that improves outcomes and enhances the overall patient experience. Outside of work, she enjoys crocheting, painting, working out and hiking on local trails. She is an avid reader and has a growing collection of plants that she enjoys caring for at home. She is also studying Spanish to expand her ability to connect with a wider range of patients. A fun fact about Arielle is that she comes from a family of twelve, which has shaped her patience, resilience and sense of teamwork.
