Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU), staffed by specially trained nurses, treats seriously ill patients who require close observation and monitoring. Patients may have special equipment in their room, depending on their unique situation and condition. In the ICU Patients are connected to machines to monitor their heart, blood pressure, and respiratory rate. Ventilators (breathing machines) assist some patients with breathing until they are able to breathe on their own.

Accurate imaging is vital in helping your physician evaluate your health and diagnose medical conditions. Our advanced imaging technologies provide high-definition images allowing our radiology team to make the most accurate diagnosis possible. Radiologists are available either on-site or remotely for quick turnaround via teleradiology (transmitting images from our facility to an off-site radiologist for interpretation).

MAMMOGRAM AND MIRALUMA BREAST IMAGING

Our technicians make mammograms using X-rays to take images of the breast from different angles to detect and diagnose breast disease. Miraluma breast imaging uses a small amount of a radioactive substance to highlight abnormal tissue. If either test method detects suspicious areas in the breast or surrounding tissue, your physician may take a biopsy to check for cancer.
