Addressing the source of ongoing, chronic pain typically requires assessments such as traditional x-rays and digital imaging studies to identify the cause and determine appropriate treatment.
Relief for chronic pain conditions, using a single or multi-prong approach, may be more complex to resolve than acute onset pain caused by an accident or similar event. Our pain management teams work with each patient to find the best solutions that may include:
- Medical therapies, including medications and interventional procedures.
- Psychological therapies, to address the emotional and cognitive issues associated with chronic pain.
- Rehabilitation therapies, such as prescribed physical, occupational and other therapies to help treat pain symptoms and return you to a comfortable level of activity and improved quality of life.
