Our Approach

Diabetes is a progressive disease that can lead to serious health problems. But you can lower your risk of developing complications by seeing your doctor regularly, taking medications as prescribed and making healthy lifestyle choices.

Diabetes Lifestyle

Our Diabetes Lifestyle program provides patients in Beaumont and Port Arthur/Mid County with exceptional diabetes management and wellness resources. Recognized by the American Diabetes Association, it's also the only program in the area accredited by the Joint Commission as a Disease Specific Care Certified Program. Diabetes Lifestyle complements the care and recommendations of your primary or specialist physician with: personalized assessment and plan; certified diabetes educators; nurses; dietitians and nutritionists; patient counseling for adults and children; and educational materials.

Group classes are held weekly and individual appointments are available upon request.
