  • Our nursing staff will call you prior to your surgery to complete a health questionnaire, review your instructions, and ensure any questions or concerns are addressed.
  • Please arrive on time so that your procedure may begin as scheduled. You will be notified of the time of arrival for your surgery when the nurse calls you to obtain a brief medical history and review the pre-operative instructions.
  • Ensure your transportation home has been arranged.
  • Upon arrival you will check in with the front desk and complete your registration. It is important that you bring your insurance card and driver’s license the day of surgery.
  • Your family will be asked to wait in the lobby and the surgeon will speak with them immediately following surgery.

After Surgery:

After your procedure, you will be moved to the post-operative recovery area where our staff will care for you until you are awake and comfortable. It is not unusual for you to feel a little sleepy or lightheaded for several hours following your procedure.

Before you leave the facility, you will be given instructions for your care at home and you will be discharged as soon as your condition is stable. After you have returned home, be sure and follow your doctor’s orders regarding diet, rest, medication, and activity.

A nurse will be calling you one to two business days after your surgery to check on your recovery. You may also be sent a patient satisfaction survey to complete and return.
