About
Dr. Henderson is a Northeast Texas Native, having spent half of his childhood in Ore City, Texas and the other half in Fairfield, Texas. He attended Abilene Christian University where he graduated Suma Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology. Upon graduation he commissioned into the United States Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant and then attended medical school at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2008. He continued his training with an Internal Medicine residency at Keesler Medical Center on Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi, and attended his Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at San Antonio Military Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
After training, he practiced medicine for the Air Force at Travis Air Force Base in Northern California, performed long-range fix-winged transport of critically ill patients in Afghanistan, and taught an advanced air transport training class in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Henderson was honorably discharged from the Air Force after 11 years of service in the Summer of 2019, and he returned with his family to Northeast Texas to establish his practice with CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic.
