“Building a Brighter Future”
100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain. One in ten Americans has experienced pain every day for three months or more. Chronic pain is the number one cause of long-term disability in the U.S. These statistics are frightening and true! But thanks to an incredible blessing this year from a very generous couple, Northeast Texans are finding relief from a world of pain.
Hazel and Bobby Tosh, owners of Harry’s Building Materials, Inc of Jacksonville, Nacogdoches, Rusk and Troup made a generous donation to support The Pain Center at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Jacksonville. The Pain Center is dedicated to improving the quality of patient’s lives by using a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of chronic pain conditions. This project would not have been possible without the philanthropic support of friends like Hazel and Bobby Tosh. An average interventional procedure day consists of 20-30 pain procedures, as well as up to six surgeries per week. That’s a lot of patients! The new Hazel and Bobby Tosh Waiting Room will provide ample space for patients and their guests and includes amenities to aid in passing time while they wait. The renovation of The Pain Center is making an amazing difference in the lives of thousands of Northeast Texans, and we are so grateful to the Tosh family for their incredible gift.
