During your hospital stay, you will be offered an individual consultation to assess your baby’s feeding style and help you with any breastfeeding difficulties you may be experiencing. You are welcome to request to see our board certified Lactation Consultant, who is a registered nurse, qualified in the areas of lactation, newborn and postpartum care. Or you may request the assistance of a Breastfeeding Educator, who has received specialized training in lactation and breastfeeding at any time.

Through efforts of The Ross Breast Center, our partnership with the nationally recognized physicians of Texas Oncology – Tyler, and our inpatient and outpatient cancer services, we offer a truly comprehensive and collaborative Cancer Care Program that utilizes the latest laboratory and imaging equipment available for cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Our Intensivists work closely with the admitting physician and our highly trained team of critical care nurses and therapists in order to best manage each patient's plan of care from the time they enter an intensive care unit.
