CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System achieves national certification for hip and knee care

- CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Alamo Heights earned its recertification.
The Joint Commission recognizes hospitals committed to following proven treatment guidelines incorporated into a comprehensive system of care to fully address the needs of patients who seek treatment for their hips and knees.
Each hospital met a set of criteria focusing on transitions of care from the pre-surgical orthopedic consultation to the intraoperative, hospitalization or ambulatory surgical centers admission, rehabilitation and finally to the follow-up with the orthopedic surgeon.
“We sought out this national certification because our patients deserve excellent care and quality outcomes,” said Dr. Jesse DeLee, orthopedic surgeon with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System. “Our surgical teams are specifically trained to deliver a high standard of orthopedic care that is state-of-the-art with proven results.”
